Australia's PM Albanese Says Iran War Goals Met, Questions Further Objectives
Australian PM Assesses Iran War Goals Achieved
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stated on Thursday in a speech at the National Press Club in Canberra that the US-Israeli war on Iran appears to have achieved its key initial aims. Albanese expressed, "We did express support for the original objectives: preventing Iran from ever obtaining a nuclear weapon and degrading its capacity to endanger its neighbours." He assessed that these objectives have now been met.
Questioning Future War Objectives
With the initial goals of curbing Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities seemingly achieved, Prime Minister Albanese questioned what further goals remain for the conflict. His remarks are expected to prompt international discussion regarding the justification and future direction of the ongoing conflict.
