Current Snow Conditions at European and Central Asian Ski Resorts

Euronews Snow Forecast has released the latest snow conditions and temperature information for major ski resorts in Europe and Central Asia. In Azerbaijan, Agbulag reported 0-0cm of snow with temperatures between 5°/7°, rated as 'Very Good'. Shahdag had 50-45cm of snow, 4°/10°, rated 'Good', and Tufandag recorded 70-40cm, 8°/14°, also rated 'Good'.

Sweden's Åre showed 114-64cm of snow, -1°/4°, rated 'Good', and Sälen had 92-34cm, -1°/1°, also 'Good'. Norway's Hafjell reported 80-60cm, 0°/7°, rated 'Very Good', while Hemsedal boasted 'Excellent' conditions with 85-56cm and temperatures of -2°/2°. In Finland, Ruka had 'Good' conditions with 67-35cm and 2°/3°, but Levi was rated 'Poor' with 60-50cm and 1°/4°. Spain's Baqueira-Beret had 'Fair' conditions with 210-170cm and -1°/2°, and Sierra Nevada was 'Good' with 380-40cm and 3°/10°.

France's Chamonix reported 'Fair' conditions with 240-40cm of snow and temperatures of -11°/0°, while Méribel was also 'Fair' with 265-200cm and -16°/0°. Switzerland's Verbier had 'Fair' conditions with 255-40cm and -15°/2°. In Italy, Cortina d'Ampezzo recorded 'Very Poor' conditions with 125-75cm and -13°/1°, and Gröden was 'Poor' with 90-60cm and -10°/2°. Germany's Garmisch-Partenkirchen showed 'Fair' conditions with 110-20cm and -8°/2°, and Oberstdorf was 'Fair' with 78-28cm and -7°/2°. Austria's St. Anton was rated 'Very Poor' with 280-110cm and -12°/1°, Ischgl was 'Fair' with 120-20cm and -9°/2°, and Kitzbühel had 'Good' conditions with 95-51cm and -7°/2°.
