Talks Coordinated in Islamabad, Pakistan

Specifically, discussions for ending the conflict are being coordinated in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. On the U.S. side, Vice President Vance and Middle East Envoy Witkoff are likely to attend. For Iran, the name of Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf, a conservative hardliner who previously served as an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps official, has been mentioned. Reuters reported that the talks could take place as early as the 28th, but Iran has yet to respond.
