The UK government has also strongly condemned the attack and stated it will fund the cost of replacing the four destroyed ambulances. Forensic officers are currently collecting evidence at the crime scene, and CCTV footage from around the area shows three hooded men approaching the ambulances and appearing to set them on fire before fleeing.
