Islamic Resistance in Iraq Intensifies Drone Attacks Against US and Israel
Islamic Resistance in Iraq Releases Drone Attack Footage
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq (IRI) has released a video showcasing drone strikes against American and Israeli targets, framing the actions as retaliation for ongoing attacks on Iran. The footage depicts drones being launched at night amid religious chants and also features a poster of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The IRI claimed to have conducted 27 operations against 'enemy' bases in Iraq and the region over the past 24 hours.
Escalating Tensions in West Asia and Israel-Lebanon Border
This video release coincides with a warning from Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba, another Iraqi resistance group, to US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The group threatened to target energy infrastructure facilities across West Asia if the United States and Israel attack Iran's power plants. On March 21, Trump issued a stark ultimatum regarding the Strait of Hormuz, stating that if Iran didn't fully open it without threat within 48 hours, the US would 'hit and obliterate their various POWER PLANTS, STARTING WITH THE BIGGEST ONE FIRST!'
Cross-Border Hostilities Between Israel and Hezbollah
Meanwhile, tensions between Israel and Lebanon are rapidly escalating with fresh attacks reported on both sides. A rocket fired by Hezbollah struck the northern Israeli city of Safed, causing minor damage to a road and nearby buildings. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported engaging Hezbollah fighters in southern Lebanon in multiple incidents, with several militants killed in airstrikes and tank fire. Israel has also accused Hezbollah of utilizing civilian infrastructure for military purposes, including a health center and financial branches of its charity arm, Al-Qard Al-Hasan, both of which have been targeted in Israeli strikes.
