Call for End to Diplomacy Against Iran

Israeli UN Ambassador Gilad Erdan emphasized that European Union leaders must take strong action against Iran. Referring to statements by key European leaders, including the President of the European Council, the President of the European Parliament, and the Spanish Prime Minister, who all stated that the war with Iran needs an exit, he asserted that action, not diplomacy, is now required. Ambassador Erdan declared that diplomacy is no longer effective when Iran's terrorist regime continues to send money and weapons to proxy forces across the Middle East and persistently develops its nuclear program.

Israel's Victory and Expectations for Change in Iran

Ambassador Erdan stated that Israel is winning the war and is diminishing Iran's military capabilities. He stressed that Israel must dismantle Iran's nuclear program and missile program, and halt Iran's financial support to proxy groups like Hezbollah and the Houthis. He also claimed that the Iranian regime has been weakened, with its military leaders eliminated, and that a change in leadership is necessary for the Iranian people to decide their own future. Ambassador Erdan asserted that the international community should not remain silent on Iran's terrorist acts, and it is time to pressure Iran to stop its terrorism against its own people, the Middle East region, and Europe.
