Escalation of Operations in Hamas-Controlled Areas

Pro-Israel Palestinian militias have recently intensified their operations, conducting repeated raids, clandestine assassinations, and abduction operations deep within Hamas-controlled parts of Gaza. These new operations have been launched despite the ongoing conflict with Iran.

The militias are based in the eastern parts of Gaza, which came under Israeli control following a ceasefire implemented last October.
