A harrowing accident occurred in White Plains, New York, where an out-of-control SUV crashed into scaffolding outside a restaurant. Surveillance video captured the grey SUV speeding through an intersection, cutting across traffic. The vehicle then veered off the road and violently collided with scaffolding erected on the side of a building.
Pedestrians and Other Cars Narrowly Avoid Catastrophe
Upon impact, a large cloud of smoke and debris erupted, and the scaffolding suffered significant damage. Remarkably, several vehicles and pedestrians were in the immediate vicinity just moments before the crash. The driver narrowly missed them, preventing what could have been a catastrophic incident with multiple casualties. According to White Plains Public Safety, the driver was fortunately not seriously injured.
