East Coast to See Continued Snow and Rain Tomorrow, Gangwon Mountains Expect Over 20cm of Snow

Southern regions experienced mild weather today. Tomorrow (13th), western regions are also expected to see a significant rise in daytime temperatures due to easterly winds. However, it will be chilly in the morning and evening, so special attention should be paid to wide daily temperature fluctuations.
East Coast Region Snowfall and Rainfall Outlook
East Coast regions are expected to see continued snow or rain until tomorrow afternoon. In particular, with a heavy snow advisory currently in effect for Gangwon mountainous areas, strong snow of 1 to a maximum of 5cm per hour is expected until dawn tomorrow, with some areas accumulating a total of over 20cm. As wet and heavy snow is anticipated, caution is advised for property management and road safety. Other East Coast regions are forecast to receive an additional 5 to 20mm of rain.
Temperature Information and Weekly Weather Outlook
Tomorrow morning's minimum temperatures will be Seoul at 2 degrees Celsius and Chuncheon at minus 1 degree Celsius, with frost possible in areas with lower temperatures. While daytime high temperatures will climb to Seoul at 12 degrees Celsius, Gangneung will remain at 7 degrees Celsius, indicating significant regional temperature differences. For the time being, no significant rain is expected, and while cold air will periodically flow in next week, making mornings and evenings chilly, a sense of spring is expected to gradually increase.
