Presidential Communications Secretary Cheloy Garafil stated that President Marcos was deeply displeased by the video. Secretary Garafil conveyed, "The President was very displeased by this incident. He was angry on behalf of our OFWs due to the improper conduct of some government officials," emphasizing the government's commitment to protecting its citizens abroad.
