Iran's Quds Force Warns US, Israel of 'Merciless Retaliation'

Iran's elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force has warned the United States and Israel of 'merciless retaliation,' stating that the war has entered a more dangerous phase. In a statement on March 11, the Quds Force characterized the actions of the U.S. and Israel as 'unjust aggression,' emphasizing that Iran would not remain silent and that its retaliation would be 'merciless.' The statement particularly praised Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei as a 'heroic warrior' and a 'defender of Muslims,' vowing to continue the struggle against 'global arrogance and international Zionism.'

The Quds Force asserted that U.S. and Israeli airstrikes had failed to break the will of Iran and regional 'resistance forces,' but rather strengthened their resolve. It further condemned the actions for 'crossing all of humanity's red lines,' warning that they would 'open the gates of fire and not rest' until their enemies are defeated, and that these enemies would not be safe even within their own borders.

Retaliatory Attacks in Middle East Region and Conditions for Ceasefire Presented

Iran stated that it had carried out over 40 retaliatory attacks against U.S. military and Israeli targets in the region, claiming to have struck major Israeli cities including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, and Beersheba. The IRGC Navy claimed to have launched a large-scale missile and drone attack on Kuwait's Al Adairi Air Base, inflicting extensive damage on a U.S. Army combat aviation brigade and causing U.S. military casualties, though this was not confirmed by the Pentagon. The Pentagon separately confirmed approximately 140 total U.S. military casualties.

Concurrently, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, following discussions with Russian and Pakistani leaders, presented three conditions for an end to the war: 1) Recognition of Iran's legitimate rights, 2) Payment of reparations, and 3) Firm international guarantees against future aggression. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that Iran's military capabilities had been 'devastated,' with most of its forces, including its air force, radar, missiles, drones, and naval vessels, destroyed.
