Democratic Party of Korea lawmaker Choo Mi-ae officially declared her candidacy for Gyeonggi Governor. '15-Minute Lifestyle City' and Transportation Revolution
Choo Mi-ae put forward a pledge to end the suffering of commuting and declare 'freedom of movement.' To achieve this, she announced plans to pursue the early completion of wide-area railway networks, including GTX and JTX, thereby completing a transportation revolution that will connect all of Gyeonggi-do into one massive megacity. She also presented a plan to create '15-Minute Lifestyle Cities,' where residents can access transportation, hospitals, schools, and cultural facilities within 15 minutes of their homes.
Economic Growth and Welfare Pledges
Choo Mi-ae promised to create jobs through strong growth, share opportunities through fair competition, and enhance residents' pride through AI administrative innovation and warm welfare policies.
